#UnderDogs-Mo Riedinger

Every week we will feature a player that is trying to get exposure to colleges. Some guys that are a little under the radar. Maybe they come from a small school, a small town, or a far away place. They will come on here and talk about their journey and dreams in their own words. We call them #Underdogs

January 2015, Dallas against New York. The game that got me into football. Or shall I say, the play that got me into football? OBJ's one handed grab. My name is Moritz 'Mo' Riedinger and I’m a football player for the Mannheim Bandits in Germany. I started as a Wide Receiver switched to Quarterback after my first season and did basically everything after that. WR, DB, special teams, everything. Played for the All-State Team and became Offensive MVP in 2017, been to Mexico in 2017 with a European select team called the 'Europe Warriors' and went to the National Team tryouts. Playing football in Germany is something totally different. It's nowhere near as big as it is in the states. And a lot of people don't play to compete. They play just for fun. That's not for me. Doesn't matter if it was on the field or in the classroom, I always wanted to compete, give my all and be the best. The first step to achieving my dreams is getting to play college ball and show my tremendous work ethic to the Coaches. The ultimate is getting a shot at the League and I strongly believe that my work ethic as well as my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are going to get me there! God Bless.#UnderDogs #IWannaSign
